Crawfish Festival in the Heights!

Are you looking for something fun to do, outside, with the whole family on what is going to be one of the nicest Saturdays weather wise that Houston will see for a long time?

We have the ticket, literally! We are taking the whole team to the Crawfish Festival in the Heights this Saturday, March 3rd. In the past this event was held on 19th, but this year because of the expected crowds the festival has been moved to SSQQ Dance Studio on 20th and East T. C. Jester.

The benefit of the move is twofold; one indoor restrooms!!!! and two lots and lots of space. And we are going to need it this year. The Crawfish Committee has added a public choice format car show with over 40 entries. The Houston Fire Department will do two demonstrations of a jaws of life rescue. The award winning Reagan High School Jr. ROTC Drill Team (that is going to march in the 4th of July parade in Washington D.C.) will lead us at 12:00 pm in a tribute to the Military and our Veterans.

These are just some of the great things available. There is a KidZone with two bouncy houses, face painting and more. There are lots of food choices for those non-crustacean eaters. And don’t forget that the Chamber will be selling raffle tickets for drawings that day on prizes totaling over $4,000. Manning Pool Service actually donated the BBQ pit that is going to be given out at the festival. It is AWESOME!

I hope that you will join us! For more information please feel free to visit the following informative sites:
